Meet Mrs Niharika Seth, a proud parent from Apeejay School, Model Town, whose two sons, Shorya and Viraj, have thrived in a nurturing and dynamic learning environment. From strong academics to confident communication and active participation in sports, she shares how the school has played a vital role in shaping their holistic growth and love for learning.

How has your overall experience with the school been?

My experience has been positive. The teachers are cooperative, understanding, and supportive. I have never faced any issues regarding my children’s education. The school ensures conceptual clarity, which is why I have not felt the need to send my children for any external tuition.

How are your children performing academically and in leadership roles?

My elder son, Viraj, has done exceptionally well. He was the Head Boy of the school in Class V, which was a proud moment for us. Both my children are doing well academically and are confident learners.

What extracurricular activities do your children enjoy?

Both my sons have learnt to skate at school and are quite good at it. They also actively participate in badminton during morning club sessions. Recently, they have developed a keen interest in cricket and are very excited to go to school early in the morning to play.

How responsive is the school when you have queries or concerns?

The school is very responsive. Whenever I have had any queries, they have been addressed promptly. I feel well-supported as a parent.

As a working professional, how do you manage time with your children?

I return home around 3:30 pm, after which I spend quality time with them. We rest for a while and then begin studying together around 4:30 pm. I personally teach them. I also ensure they get time to play in the evening before resuming studies. We dedicate Friday nights to family time. We either watch movies together or play games. Sometimes their grandfather also joins in, making it even more special. Family bonding is very important to us.

Do you feel the school maintains a balance between academics and extracurricular activities?

Yes, absolutely. The school focuses on holistic development. I especially appreciate the emphasis on communication skills and confidence-building activities.

Have you noticed any specific improvements in your children?

Yes, particularly in their speaking skills. My younger son surprised me during a ‘show and tell’ activity, speaking confidently without much preparation. The school has helped remove stage fright and improve their ability to express themselves clearly.

Any final thoughts about the school?

I am satisfied with the school. It truly acts as a second home for my children, complementing the values and learning we provide at home.
