‘I aspire to create innovative pharmaceutical solutions’

Sanya Hasija, a student with Apeejay Stya University, Gurugram, shares about her dreams and learnings

Sanya Hasija is pursuing her Bachelor’s in Pharmacy from School of Pharmaceutical Sciences at Apeejay Stya University (ASU), Gurugram. She decided to pursue pharmaceutical education because of her keen interest in the field of science & healthcare and aspires to create a difference in the pharmaceutical industry. 

Recently, the Apeejay student completed her one-month internship (summer training) from Vintage Pvt Ltd, a marketing company in Gurugram, where she worked as a data analyst. When asked about her experience, Sanya mentioned, “My internship experience was great. I increased my knowledge of generic medicines.”

The aspirational Apeejay student further explained, “The benefit which I got from this internship was that I read the composition of the products & understood the category of the medicine used in the diseases. One of the key thing that I learned from my internship was the usage of these medicines around the world and degree to which these diseases have been spreading across the globe.”

For this learning experience, Sanya extended her credit to the Professors at Apeejay Stya University who have always been supporting her by sharing about the latest trends in the pharmaceutical sector in India as well as abroad. “They constantly share insightful knowledge about the medicine in trend,” she added.

Sanya’s future aspirations revolve around making a meaningful contribution to the pharmaceutical industry. “I aim to pursue a Master’s degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences to gain deeper insights into the field. Ultimately, I aspire to work in the research and development sector, with a focus on creating innovative pharmaceutical solutions that can improve healthcare and address pressing global health challenges. Additionally, I’m interested in exploring opportunities in pharmaceutical regulation and quality assurance to ensure the safety and efficacy of medications for patients,” she emphasised.
