Prashant Choudhary was a Corporate Communications and Event Management student at AIMC. Currently, he is running a show as a successful professional at Workaholics Entertainment Pvt Solutions Ltd. In a quick interview with the Apeejay Newsroom, Prashant shares insights about the world of glamour and reminisces about the AIMC days. Read edited excerpts:

What all work does an event management person have to do?

I am a client servicing executive. I meet the clients, take their briefs and give that to the design team. Then again, I’m busy managing the queries of the client regarding the design and carrying out their creative vision. I am the client’s go to person.

How did AIMC help you reach your dream profession?

AIMC gave me a path. I never thought that the event management industry was so huge and diverse. But AIMC taught me how to deal with everybody, from a small vendor to a reputed artist

What excites you the most in the event management industry?

The glamour! From the lights, to the sound, the show,  the glamour is all around.

One thing you could change about the industry?

It is not possible. But if I could, then I wish the office hours here had a fixed timing. This industry is more about sleepless nights and hard work behind the stage.

Best memories from AIMC days?

Even today, I find it hard to come out of AIMC days when I think about it. Whenever I feel sad, I become nostalgic about those days. We hardly spent a few months there, but those were some of the best days of my life.

Lastly, your future five year plan?

I want to change my company in the near future. I have some ambitions and plans at heart.
