Recently, Akbar House at Apeejay School, Panchsheel Park, organised a memorable and heartfelt special assembly to mark Teacher’s Day, paying tribute to the guiding lights of society—our teachers. The event was a vibrant blend of reverence, celebration, and creative expression, thoughtfully crafted by the students to honour their mentors.
The day began on a spiritual note with the auspicious lamp lighting ceremony, symbolising the dispelling of darkness through the light of knowledge. The serene ambience was enriched by a soulful rendition of Guru Vandana, invoking blessings and setting a respectful tone for the celebrations. This sacred opening underscored the profound bond between teachers and students, rooted in gratitude and reverence.

A special moment in the assembly was the reading of a message from Mrs Sushma Paul Berlia, Chairman, Apeejay Stya & Svran Group, Chancellor, Apeejay Stya University, and Chairman, Apeejay Education, by the Vice-principal.
Dear Teachers,
I wish you all a very Happy Teachers’ Day!
This day is truly special, as the role of teachers is central to any educational institution. It is also a moment to honour your invaluable contribution in shaping the youth and, through them, the nation.
I appreciate your dedication, resilience, and commitment. You have always shown strength in the face of challenges, and I am confident you will continue to do so in the days ahead.

Teachers are more than just educators. You are mentors and role models who inspire, encourage curiosity, build confidence, empower and help students discover their true potential. The effective implementation of innovative pedagogies, and focus on social and emotional well-being of students has immensely contributed towards making learning more meaningful, engaging and joyful.
I am happy that you are continually taking professional development initiatives to enhance your skills and staying updated on the best practices. I urge you to keep striving to be the best version of yourselves, for in doing so, you can inspire all those around you.
Value-based education, anchored in human values, remains the cornerstone of Apeejay Education. We remain committed to nurturing the holistic growth of every student — intellectual, emotional, physical, and spiritual — while also preparing them with values and skills for the future. Our motto, “Soaring High is My Nature,” reminds us that learning and excellence are lifelong journeys, and there are always new heights to reach.
On this day, I extend my heartfelt gratitude to each of you. Your passion and perseverance make a lasting difference in the lives of your students.
Once again, a very Happy Teachers’ Day to all of you!

The message served as an inspiring reminder of the noble mission of education and the monumental role teachers play in nation-building.
This was followed by a melodious group song performance by the students, which beautifully echoed the sentiments of appreciation and love for the teaching fraternity. Their harmonious voices struck a chord with the audience, evoking smiles and heartfelt emotions among the teachers seated in attendance.
One of the most impactful segments of the assembly was a thought-provoking skit presented by the students. Through creative storytelling, humour, and emotion, the skit portrayed the indispensable role of teachers in shaping young minds and guiding them towards a brighter future. The narrative struck a balance between entertainment and introspection, highlighting the challenges, patience, and unwavering dedication that teachers bring into their everyday lives.

Adding a personal and deeply emotional touch to the programme was a Teacher’s Day presentation — a curated visual tribute from students to their teachers. Through heartfelt messages, photos, and anecdotes, the presentation reflected the students’ admiration and gratitude for their mentors, further cementing the bond between them.
The Teacher’s Day Special Assembly by Akbar House was not merely an event — it was a moving tribute to the spirit of teaching. From the performances to the messages, every aspect reflected deep appreciation, respect, and love for teachers.
The event concluded on a note of joy, reflection, and inspiration — truly embodying the spirit of Teacher’s Day and leaving behind memories that both students and teachers will cherish.
