Honouring a Legacy of Dreams, Values and Excellence
Apeejay School, Charkhi Dadri commemorates Dr Stya Paul’s 107th birth anniversary with inspiring tributes and celebrations

Apeejay School, Charkhi Dadri celebrated Founder’s Day with enthusiasm and reverence commemorating the 107th birth anniversary of its late visionary founder, Dr Stya Paul. The occasion celebrated his enduring legacy of excellence, human values, perseverance and holistic development, reflected in the school motto, “Soaring High Is My Nature.”
The programme commenced with a solemn tribute to Dr Stya Paul and his remarkable contribution to education and nation-building. Dr Vineet Vasishtha, Principal, shared a special message highlighting the ideals and educational vision that continue to inspire the Apeejay family.
“Founder’s Day is a cherished occasion to remember the extraordinary vision and values of our
revered founder, Dr Stya Paul ji. His life teaches us that dreams, determination, resilience and
human values create lasting impact. The inspiring presentations, cultural performances and
felicitation of meritorious students reflected his ideals beautifully. I congratulate all awardees
and participants and appreciate the support of their parents. May every student imbibe his values,strive for excellence and continue to live by our motto, “Soaring High Is My Nature.”
Further, Aarav of Class VII delivered a thought-provoking lecture titled “Soaring High Is My Nature”, drawing connections between the school motto and Dr Stya Paul’s journey of determination, resilience and unwavering commitment to education.
The Moral Values Presentation by students of Class VII was another highlight. Through engaging speeches and examples, the students showcased 15 important values, including honesty, empathy, perseverance, resilience, compassion and responsibility, while relating them to the founder’s inspiring life.
The celebration also featured a vibrant cultural programme presented by students. The prestigious Dr Stya Paul Award for Human Values was presented to deserving students who demonstrated exemplary character. Aviraj and Dushyant Mahajan of Class VIII shared the award in the Middle Section, while Khushi of Class IX and Dipanshu Jatrana of Class XII were also honoured. The awardees received cash prizes of ₹5,000, ₹7,500 and ₹10,000, along with certificates and medals. Their parents were invited to share the proud moment.
Students who excelled in the Spellbee Competition were felicitated with certificates and medals. The Eklavya and Maitri Awards for Language were presented to Kashvika of Class XI, Hitakshi of Class IX and Navasha of Class VIII.
The occasion was further enriched by an inspiring address by Mrs Sushma Paul Berlia, Chairman, Apeejay Stya & Svran Group, Chancellor Apeejay Stya University, and Chairman, Apeejay Education , who spoke about her father’s extraordinary life and legacy. She urged students to dream fearlessly, remain rooted in values and strive for excellence.
The celebration concluded with students reaffirming their commitment to carrying forward his ideals and continuing to soar high through knowledge, character and values.
