The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from 15 teams across various departments of the college.

The esteemed jury, including Mr. Anil Gupta (Head of Applied Art), Dr. Jagmohan Mago, and Dr. Rekha from the Department of Computer Science, evaluated the creativity and understanding demonstrated in the posters.

Noshi and Simarjeet of BCA 3rd semester claimed the top spot in this  competition with their outstanding creativity, followed by the commendable understanding and artistic skill displayed by Rajat and Vanshika of B.Com 5th semester securing the second place. The visually engaging poster capturing the essence of IT subjects earned Angel and Shivanshi from B.Com Semester 5 the third position. Additionally, Ashmeet and Tia of B.Voc E-Commerce Semester 3, along with Tanisha and Tamanna of B.Voc E-Commerce Semester 1, were recognised with well-deserved consolation prizes for their noteworthy contributions.

While expressing her views, Dr. Neerja Dhingra, Principal of ACFA, emphasised the importance of providing a platform for students to express ideas and shape their imagination. She pointed out that the competition was a reflection of the students’ thought processes.

Dr. Dhingra congratulated the winning students, honouring them with certificates, and encouraged their continued participation in future competitions.

Tia Luthra highlighted the significance of such opportunities at ACFA. She emphasised, “Such competition allows students to showcase creative talents, promoting healthy competition and teamwork.” Tia noted that time constraints during the competition challenged students’ time management skills. The event served as a valuable platform for students to visually present their thoughts and voice their ideas.

Another winner, Naushi, expressed appreciation for the guidance provided by teachers and seniors. She highlighted the event’s role in boosting morale and increasing knowledge about Cloud Computing’s disadvantages. The experience of presenting thoughts on the topic, coupled with improvisation with colours, enhanced creativity, and made the event memorable.

Overall, the Poster Making Competition proved to be not only a competitive event but also a fun and motivating experience for students to break from their academic routine and gain valuable insights and experiences.
