High-Fives and High Achievements: Celebrating the success of the students

Annual Appreciation Days at any school are like sunshine on a cloudy day, spreading warmth and joy throughout the campus. Imagine a day where everyone gathers to celebrate each other’s unique talents, efforts, and achievements. Teachers beam with pride as they honour their hardworking students, while students cheer on their classmates for their accomplishments. It’s a time when high-fives, hugs, and heartfelt thank-yous fill the air, creating a sense of unity and belonging among everyone.

To celebrate the culmination of the year and to begin with a new academic year, Apeejay School, Noida hosted its Annual Appreciation Day by the students of classes I to V.

From the cafeteria staff who keep hungry bellies happy to the custodians who ensure a clean and safe environment, no effort goes unnoticed. This special day not only boosts morale but also encourages reflection and gratitude, reminding us all of the importance of kindness and appreciation in our school family.

The day reached its zenith of grandeur with the esteemed presence of Mrs Shraddha Lokesh, (wife of Mr Lokesh M, CEO of Noida Industrial Development Authority), as the chief guest. Her esteemed presence added an extra touch of honour and significance to the event, elevating the excitement and enthusiasm among students, teachers, and staff alike

The event commenced with a floral welcome for the chief guest, followed by the ceremonial lighting of the lamp. The Principal, Ms Kohli praised students for embracing good values, emphasising the importance of appreciation in motivating others and spreading positivity. She also highlighted that genuine happiness stems from gratitude.

The event filled students with pride and a sense of achievement as they were awarded certificates, medals, and trophies for their outstanding accomplishments over the year.

The audience was captivated by the wide array of activities and events conducted throughout the year for the Primary Department students via an Annual Report delivered by a student group. Parents were also informed about their children’s special achievements through a detailed video compilation.

The best part of the event was the exciting cultural performance — Scrolls to Satellites: A Communication Odyssey. It took everyone present on a journey from old scrolls to today’s satellites, showing how communication has evolved.

The students’ creativity and hard work showed in their performances. The school lived up to the adage: Achievements of today are the stepping stones for the future ones.

Overall, the Annual Appreciation Day at Apeejay School, Noida by the students of classes I to V  was a big success and culminated with a vote of thanks from the Primary Department Head Boy and Head Girl. Everyone appreciated the way it was planned, making it a hit with all who attended.
