He is the auspicious one, he is the first teacher,

The one who fulfills all wishes, he is the first leader.

He is the Adiyogi, and is unborn,

On his head, the moon was reborn.

The one with infinite qualities, with infinite vision,

He is the faultless one, he who takes all decisions

He is imperishable, the destroyer of fear,

He has three eyes, Bholenath he is, with immense esteem, he could appear.

He is Bhooteshwara, Chandrapal, Chandraprakash, with a lot of power he is Devaadi Dev,

To Lord Vishnu, Sudrashan Chakra he gave.

He is lord of wealth and brilliance, the one who wears the sky as his raiment,

Challenging to be known, Lord of river Ganga, he does the true judgment.

The great guru, he is the remover of sins, the master  of the universe

In praise of him, there is much verse.

The lord of Mount Kailash, Jatin he is,

He has a third eye, ever radiant, the universe is his,

He is the creator of the universe, the lord of time,

Victor of death himself, Mahamaya, Trident in his hands, one who punishes whoever does the crime.

The one who drank Halahal to save the universe, He is the one who defeated Tripura ,

He is worshiped with water from the river Mandakini and smeared with Sandal Paste, Lord of Ghosts and Goblins, the one who defeated Andhaka.

Who is Auspicious and Who is like the sun causing the lotus-face of mother Gauri to blossom, 

The destroyer of the arrogance of Daksha, who has a blue throat and is awesome.

Who is worshiped by the best and most respected Sages, who is the crown of the universe,

Who has the moon, sun, and fire as his three eyes, he is the god of the multiverse.

Who has the Pinaka bow in his hand and who is eternal, who is divine, Who is the shining God,

Who has the four directions as his clothes, one who has boundless energies and is the greatest yogi,

The one who protects all directions, 

He is vigorous, lord of all beings, Rudra, Sanatana, he is with no imperfections.

He who is first among all Gods,  he is transcended one, preceptor of all,

Sadasiva, Shankara, Shambho he is, illuminator of vedas, you are lucky if he calls,

The lord of medicine he is, I bow to Lord Mahesvara,whose body is anointed with holy waters from the river Ganges and sandal paste, 

who is the sovereign king of the Pramatha Ganas, in his worship nothing goes waste.

He is not mind, nor intellect, nor ego, nor the reflections of the inner self.

He is not the five senses, I worship Parvati and Parameshwara, who are inseparable, one who worships them always gets defenses.

None other than shiva he is,

To worship him is a total bliss
