Today, taking time out to appreciate simple blessings is often relegated to the background. Hence, the students of class III A, Apeejay School, Panchsheel Park brought a new dimension of gratitude to the forefront. Their special assembly-themed Attitude of Gratitude was not just an event but a lesson in true recognition and spreading happiness.

The morning assembly began harmoniously with a prayer, which brought a reflective ambience. After the prayer came a sonorous singing of I am Thankful. It was more than just a musical number since the students picked it to create an atmosphere for this enriching assembly. This truthfully communicated what the day’s theme was, preparing the audience for all these inspiring performances.

This was followed by a performance by students of class III, a skit titled A Spreading Happiness to Others. It depicted simple but impactful gestures. The message was clear: Spreading joy begins with one grateful thought. Their energetic moves and radiant faces let out a very infectious wave of happiness and warmth that spread throughout the auditorium.

The assembly wasn’t only entertaining but brought a very powerful message — Gratitude is the most important ingredient for happiness, not just for one person but for those around. This truth was engulfed in every song, prayer, and dance by Class III A, who simply spellbound everyone with its brilliance.

Speaking about this special assembly, Ms Archana Khanna, PRT Science, through this activity, the students learnt to appreciate family, friends, and all the necessities in life. “They learnt to cultivate positivity and happiness with the attitude of gratitude,” the educator shared.

The students who participated in this special assembly gave their take on the theme. “We should always be grateful to God for the blessed life,” Vivaan Nagpal said.

Rutvi Rajesh Mate opined: “We should be thankful for every little thing that doesn’t make us big and small.” Expressing a similar sentiment, Arihant Singh said: “Joy is the simplest form of gratitude.”

The students, through this assembly, learnt not just how to be thankful but mastered the expression creatively. Their performances reminded everyone that the show of gratitude is not just a ‘thank you’ affair but a way of life — a tool that brings laughter and makes moments turn into blessings.

Overall, the special assembly at Apeejay School, Panchsheel Park, was a little beyond an event; it was a heartfelt reminder of the power of gratitude and the profound impact it could bring to our lives and communities.
