GATE 2025 registration to open soon 

The registration for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2025 will commence on August 24 and conclude on September 26. Candidates can fill out the application form once the login window opens in August on the official website, gate2025.iitr.ac.in. GATE is a national-level exam assessing the comprehensive understanding of various undergraduate subjects in Engineering, Technology, Architecture, Science, Commerce, Arts, and Humanities. The exams will be held from February 1 to 16, 2025.

To complete the online application form, candidates need the following data:

• 1. Personal information, including name (matching the photo ID), date of birth, personal and parents’ mobile numbers, and address for communication (with PIN code)
• 2. Eligibility degree details
• 3. GATE papers and codes for the desired exam subjects
• 4. Preferred exam centre cities (three choices within the same zone)
• 5. Payment details for net banking, debit/credit card, or UPI

Required documents include:

• 1. A high-quality passport-size photograph in JPG/JPEG format with a white background and clear visibility of the face (size not more than 1 MB)
• 2. A high-quality image of the candidate’s signature in black or dark blue ink (size not exceeding 1 MB)
• 3. A scanned copy of the category certificate (SC/ST) in PDF format, if applicable
• 4. A scanned copy of the PwD certificate in PDF format, if applicable
• 5. A scanned copy of the dyslexia certificate in PDF format, if applicable
• 6. A scanned copy of a valid photo ID (Aadhar-UID preferred, or passport, PAN card, voter ID, driving license), showing the candidate’s name, date of birth, and unique photo ID number

Candidates must ensure that all uploaded documents are clear and readable to avoid application processing delays or rejection.
