G20 meet will prove to be a platform to boost education sector: Minister

Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has envisioned that the G20 meeting on education will prove to be an important platform for seeking vital inputs from expert nations to boost the sector of the country and the state of Punjab in particular.

While addressing a gathering during the second meeting of the G20 Education Working Group, he said that he ardently believes that the deliberations here will not only uplift the standard of education, but also benefit the state’s youth immensely. Further, he also expressed hope that the efforts of the G20 in addressing major issues related to the global economy will give a major fillip to the country’s economic growth in general.

In addition to this, Mann lauded the concerted efforts being made by the G20 for promoting an environment of peace, understanding and international cooperation.
