“Let the festival of lights, light up our world in a thousand different ways”

The festival of Diwali, ushers in a spirit of bonding and togetherness.  Parents acquaint their children with their cultural roots and traditions during the festival. It is an occasion celebrated with much fervour and enthusiasm every year. To commemorate the occasion, Apeejay Svran Global School organised Alankaran: Diwali Mela (fair) in the school premises on October 30.

It was a fun-filled fair with art and craft exhibitions, games for students and food stalls.  An aesthetically appealing rangoli prepared by the students at the school entrance welcomed visitors. The fair reflected the vibrance of the festival of lights. The entire atmosphere was charged with fun, frolic and a euphoric festive vibe.

The students visited the fair along with their parents, who went on a shopping spree. Most of the art and craft works were sold out in no time. Students sang and danced with merriment, freely to the live music.

Principal, Mrs Deepika Arora appreciated the efforts of all students and teachers in making the Diwali Mela a runaway success.

“Happiness spreads through sharing, keeping it in mind this year, we decided to share the joy and vigour of festivities welcoming the Festival of Lights with our students and parents!! This was a momentous occasion for the ASGS family after a long Covid break.”
