Mrs Vaishnavi Tyagi is a homemaker and her husband, Mr Nitin Tyagi, is a Government Council Advocate. They are proud parents of Swasti Tyagi, a kindergarten student at Apeejay International School, Greater Noida. In a quick interview over a phone call, Mrs Tyagi speaks about her daughter’s progress since joining the school as well as briefs us about the school’s initiative of making learning fun. Edited excerpts:

We hope the admission process went smoothly?

It was very easy and we faced no problem. Swasti’s cousin sister Navya was also enrolled in this school. Their family recently shifted to Gujrat. We heard great feedback from them about the school.

Is Swasti happy at school?

She is very happy. She likes Math a lot and also colouring, drawing and painting activities. She is mostly engrossed in all this. The school staff, Principal, everyone is very supportive.

Are the teachers engaging well with the students?

The teachers are excellent. Nisha ma’am, her class teacher in Nursery, was exceptionally good. It was her teaching techniques that interested me the most. Her current class teacher, Shivika ma’am, is also very nice.

Would you recommend the school to other parents?

Certainly. I have already told the other parents in my locality about this school.

What do you like the most about the school?

I like the activities the school organises for the toddlers. The puzzle activities, rhyme competitions are excellent ways of education. In Nursery, Swasti had participated in the inter school Hindi Kavita Vachan competition and had also got the third position.
