Every farewell marks the end of a cherished chapter and the beginning of a new journey filled with possibilities. Embracing this spirit of reflection, gratitude, and hope, Apeejay’s IB School, Apeejay School International, hosted a memorable Farewell Ceremony for the outgoing IBDP-2, the Class of 2026, in the school’s AV Room.

The occasion was graced by the presence of the Principal cum Director-Research & Capability Development, Mr Stephen James Tumpane, Vice-principal Ms Neha Sharma, and members of the faculty, whose presence added warmth and significance to the celebration.

The occasion was a heartfelt celebration of the students’ transformative years at the school and the meaningful relationships, experiences, and accomplishments that shaped their journey. The festivities commenced on a symbolic and uplifting note as the graduating students released colourful balloons into the sky, representing their aspirations, dreams, and the exciting opportunities that await them beyond the school gates.

The programme featured a thoughtfully curated student-led assembly that reflected the values of the IB learner profile and the spirit of the graduating cohort. A graceful farewell dance added warmth and elegance to the event, while a specially created “Memory Lane” video evoked smiles, laughter, and emotion as it revisited treasured moments from the students’ years here.

The celebration continued with vibrant cultural performances that brought energy and joy to the gathering. Recognising the individuality and unique strengths of each graduate, the school presented personalised Learner Profile titles, mementoes, and a commemorative class photograph, offering lasting reminders of their time as members of the ASI community.

One of the most eagerly anticipated segments of the day was the Mr ASI and Ms ASI  Competition. Through a confident ramp walk, engaging talent presentations, and an insightful question-and-answer round, students showcased their creativity, character, and self-expression. The title of Ms ASI was awarded to Bhavya Dugar, while Ibhanan Choubey was crowned Mr ASI. Their authenticity, confidence, and poise left a lasting impression on both the judges and audience.

The celebration culminated with the traditional Principal’s dinner, where Mr Tumpane addressed the graduating class with words of encouragement and inspiration. Students were urged to remain lifelong learners, embrace challenges with courage, and continue contributing positively to an increasingly interconnected world.

The farewell was a fitting tribute to the Class of 2026, a day woven with nostalgia, gratitude, laughter, and heartfelt goodbyes. As these young global citizens embark on new academic and personal pursuits, the entire ASI community wishes them every success, happiness, and fulfilment in the journeys that lie ahead.
