From ecstatic performances to games, enjoy it all at this Delhi school’s high-spirited carnival

Apeejay School, Saket, welcomes parents and family members to participate in a winter carnival next month

Apeejay School, Saket, is all set to organise a winter carnival: ‘La-Fiesta’ on December 11 at the school premises. Students will take part in the planning and organisation of the grand event.

The school grounds will be transformed into a mini ‘Magic City’ to get everybody to immerse themselves in music, art, and more. An array of game stalls and food stalls will be set up; people can indulge in henna designing and face painting too. And there is a chance to win exciting prizes and lucky draws!

Parents attending the carnival can not only participate in thrilling activities but also make the most of enriching experiences at innovation counters, an art gallery, a yoga centre, a magic show, and a free health checkup centre.

Meanwhile, students will present lovely performances on stage. The pre-primary children will be dressed as their favourite cartoon characters and participate in the carnival parade. There will be exciting prizes for the top three best-dressed children from each class.

The students of nursery and KG will also walk the ramp with their parents or grandparents in an event called ‘Baby Show’. Doctors and fashion experts will be the judges for the show.

On the sidelines, a specially crafted talent show will have students from classes I-V showcase their skills. Non-Apeejayites can also participate in the event.

Classes III to IX and XI will step up stalls for games, puzzles, DIY, and other activities. All processes will be managed by the students with support from faculty thereby nurturing managerial skills and leadership traits in the students.

To add to the bonanza, an on-demand music pavilion will also allow guests to get their favourite numbers played at the carnival.

Raffle tickets of Rs 100 each will be the entry ticket to the event. Each student has already been provided with a set of six raffle bands to bring friends and family members to the gala.
