Freshers Party: A warm beginning to the new academic journey

Apeejay Institute of Management & Engineering Technical Campus in Jalandhar recently hosted a spectacular freshers party ‘Parichay 2023′ to welcome the new batch of students from the School of Management, IT, and Engineering at AIMETC. 

The new joinees came together for an unforgettable day of fun, bonding, and celebration. The event aimed to welcome the newcomers and provide them with a platform to interact with their seniors and foster a sense of belonging within the campus community.

The event was nothing short of a carnival, as students immersed themselves in a myriad of activities. Laughter and excitement filled the air as the new students, brimming with enthusiasm, indulged in singing, dancing, and engaging in a variety of games. ‘Parichay 2023’ served as an icebreaker, breaking down the initial barriers and allowing students to build lasting connections with their peers.

One of the unique moments of the event was the glamorous ramp walk, where the young ladies showcased poise, elegance, style, and an abundance of confidence. Their graceful presence enthralled the audience, leaving a lasting impression. The boys, too, made their mark, impressing everyone with their wit, style, exuberance, and positive attitude in the Q&A round. The event truly brought out the hidden talents and charisma of the new students.

The student organisers spared no effort in creating an atmosphere that promoted camaraderie and friendship among the attendees. It was not merely a party but an opportunity for students to come together, break the ice, and begin their educational journey on a high note. The event provided a platform for students to get to know one another, foster team spirit, and establish a sense of belonging within the campus community.

Faculty members and seniors also played a pivotal role in ensuring that ‘Parichay 2023’ was a resounding success. Their support and guidance helped make the newcomers feel welcome and valued, setting a positive tone for their academic journey ahead.

In the end, the winners of different competitions from all the classes were declared. From MBA, Bidesh Bhuimali and Guntash Singh were honoured with Mr and Miss Fresher 2023. In the BBA category,  these titles were won by Sukrant Sandhu and Neha Joshi.

From the B Com (H) programme, Sehaj was Miss Fresher 2023. While in B Tech, Mr and Miss Fresher 2023 titles were awarded to Saksham and Tripam. From BCA,  Mr Fresher was Divjot Singh and Miss Fresher was Radhika. Finally, Joshua Hira and Siya Thakur won the Mr and Miss Fresher 2023 titles from the MCA programme.  

The day was etched as one of the most memorable in the minds of the students and they thanked their seniors for organising such a wonderful party.
