‘Fresh air’: Poem by Guneev Kaur, Apeejay School, Mahavir Marg, Jalandhar

Published

on

Out from the dark

And the fresh air bursts as a mark

Its aroma captivating

For its about that one, so pleasing

The brightness is obvious

Although its flicker of positivity is much more tangible

The one referred to as ‘granted’

Is indeed what is ‘not always in hands but is always wanted’

The mark of juvenility is much recognizable

So does the surrounding asks us to revolve the eyes

How melodiously do the birds enunciate

How pricelessly do our ears resonate

To breathe the charm

And get indulged in all that you call warm

Tranquility being though a subsidiary a word

Euphoria clinching all the swords

Haleness is a bonus

It is nothing but a blessing for us

Fresh air is a boon

The one not so likely a chance of all the noons
