Faridabad schools celebrate freedom and unity with pride

On the auspicious occasion of Independence Day, the spirit of freedom and unity reverberated throughout Apeejay Svran Global School, Sector 21-D Faridabad. The school’s vibrant celebration was marked by a day filled with fervour, pride, and patriotic enthusiasm.

The day began with a remarkable gathering of the entire school community, from the littlest ones in Nursery and K.G. to the senior students, assembling at the school grounds. The heart-warming sight of all the students coming together symbolised the essence of unity and the shared love for the country. Amidst an atmosphere brimming with anticipation, the flag was unfurled by Ms. Priti Wason, Principal of Apeejay Svran Global School, Sector 21-D Faridabad, embodying the cherished values of our nation.

As the fluttering tricolour soared high against the azure sky, the echoes of the National Anthem sung by the entire school resonated, a powerful homage to the sovereignty and pride of our nation. The sense of belonging and patriotism was palpable, encapsulating the collective gratitude for the freedom that had been hard-fought and won.

The celebration continued with a vibrant cultural program, a testament to the school’s commitment to fostering a sense of heritage and unity among its students. The youngest members of the school, the Nursery and K.G. students, led the assembly with their innocent and spirited dance performance on a patriotic melody. Their uninhibited enthusiasm and unwavering dedication to honouring the country’s freedom fighters were truly heart-warming.

Following the mesmerising performance by the little ones, the students took center stage, showcasing their talents through songs and dances that exuded the essence of patriotism. The school orchestra skillfully played a medley of soul-stirring patriotic tunes, evoking deep emotions of pride and gratitude within every heart present. The audience was moved by the poignant melodies, as the music seemed to narrate the stories of courage and sacrifice woven into the fabric of our nation’s history.

The celebrations served as a poignant reminder of the sacrifices made by countless freedom fighters who valiantly laid down their lives for the cause of liberty. The event concluded on a joyous note, as laddos were distributed to all attendees, symbolising the sweetness of unity and harmony that prevails within our diverse country. Similarly, Apeejay School, Faridabad Sector 21-A marked the auspicious day with much fervour. The school took a significant step by hosting a flag hoisting ceremony, engaging in small but heartfelt celebrations, and spreading the joy of the occasion through the sharing of sweets.

So, let us all come together as a family and make a promise to ourselves that through continuous hard work and values engraved in our hearts, actions, and intentions, we will propel this great country to even greater heights.
