Empowering Educators for Future-Ready Classrooms Through NCF-SE 2023

Reaffirming its commitment to continuous professional development and educational excellence, Apeejay Svran Global School, Faridabad, Sector 21 D,  recently organised an in-house workshop on the National Curriculum Framework for School Education (NCF-SE) 2023. The workshop aimed to familiarise teachers with the framework’s vision, philosophy, and key recommendations while equipping them with practical strategies to implement its principles in everyday classroom teaching.

The session commenced with an engaging collaborative activity titled “Future Classroom”, where teachers worked together to imagine and design learning environments aligned with the transformative vision of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and NCF-SE 2023. The activity encouraged participants to reflect on how classrooms can evolve into inclusive, student-centric spaces that foster creativity, critical thinking, collaboration, and holistic development.

Building on this interactive beginning, the workshop provided an in-depth understanding of the National Curriculum Framework and its significance in reshaping school education. Teachers explored the distinction between curriculum and syllabus, enabling them to appreciate the broader educational goals that extend beyond prescribed content. The workshop concluded with an engaging discussion on translating the recommendations of NCF-SE 2023 into effective teaching practices. Teachers actively exchanged ideas, shared classroom experiences, and reflected on practical ways to implement the framework in their respective subjects.
