The Ministry of Education, All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), and Microsoft have joined forces to prepare students for the future. The collaboration involves a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at providing skilling and job readiness in areas like AI, Cloud, Data Science, Data Analytics and Security. AICTE, a national-level council for technical education under the Ministry of Education, impacts over three million students and educators.

Microsoft will integrate its centralised training platform, Microsoft Learn, to enhance AICTE’s curriculum, offering hands-on experience with their technologies. Additionally, students will gain access to the Azure Developer Community for industry insights and mentorship. Azure Handbooks will also be provided for projects in sectors like manufacturing, retail, healthcare, and education. In addition to this, the Future Ready Talent Programme will also offer virtual mentorship on technology projects.

Dharmendra Pradhan, Minister for Education, Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, emphasised the potential of these partnerships to set new standards in education. Professor TG Sitharam, Chairman of AICTE has expressed excitement about empowering students and educators with essential digital skills for success in the digital age.
