“The future of our planet is in our hands” came alive as the Primary Department of Apeejay School, Noida enthusiastically organised a Co-Curricular Activity (CCA) centred on the theme “Earth”, inspiring young learners to become environmentally conscious and responsible citizens. The thoughtfully planned activities aimed to nurture creativity, spread awareness about environmental conservation, and encourage sustainable habits among students through meaningful participation.

The day witnessed enthusiastic involvement from students of Classes III, IV, and V, each participating in specially designed activities that highlighted the importance of protecting the planet.

Students of Class III showcased their imagination and concern for nature through a vibrant poster-making activity titled “My Happy Earth.” Using bright colours and creative ideas, students illustrated simple yet impactful ways to keep the Earth clean and green. Their posters reflected messages about planting more trees, conserving water, reducing pollution, and maintaining cleanliness in surroundings. The activity encouraged children to think deeply about environmental care while expressing their thoughts artistically.

Meanwhile, Class IV students displayed remarkable creativity during the activity “Green Promise – Best Out of Waste Craft.” Demonstrating the value of sustainability, students transformed discarded materials into useful and decorative items. Waste materials such as newspapers, cardboard, plastic bottles, and old packaging were creatively repurposed into attractive crafts, highlighting the significance of reuse and recycling. The initiative encouraged students to understand that waste can be converted into something meaningful through innovation and responsible thinking.

Adding a thoughtful dimension to the programme, Class V students confidently delivered speeches under the theme “Voice for the Earth.” With confidence and conviction, students shared insightful ideas on environmental conservation, pollution control, saving natural resources, and spreading awareness about sustainable living. Their presentations reflected maturity and a strong sense of responsibility towards protecting the environment for future generations.

Further enriching the celebrations, students of Class 5-D conducted a special assembly on April 20, 2026, based on the theme “Earth Smiles When We Care.” The assembly beautifully conveyed the message of environmental stewardship through engaging performances. A heartfelt poem recitation and an energetic action song captivated the audience while reinforcing the importance of caring for nature. The presentation concluded with a meaningful environmental pledge, where students collectively promised to protect the Earth by adopting eco-friendly habits and encouraging others to do the same.

The activities created an atmosphere of awareness, creativity, and responsibility throughout the department. Through posters, speeches, crafts, songs, and pledges, students not only learned valuable lessons about environmental conservation but also discovered how small actions can make a meaningful difference.

The event proved to be both engaging and educational, leaving students inspired to contribute towards building a cleaner, greener, and healthier planet. By nurturing environmental values at an early age, the Primary Department successfully reinforced the message that caring for the Earth begins with each one of us.
