Dr Sucharita becomes Pro Vice Chancellor Apeejay Stya University

Dr Sucharita, Director, Apeejay Education Society, Jalandhar and the longest-serving Principal of Apeejay College of Fine Arts (ACFA), Jalandhar has been elevated to the prestigious post of Pro Vice Chancellor Apeejay Stya University Sohna, Gurugram by Mrs Sushma Paul Berlia, Chairman Apeejay Education Society and Chancellor Apeejay Stya University, in recognition of her remarkable contribution and commitment to the Apeejay Education Society.

Associated with Apeejay since 1978, first as a lecturer in fine arts and later as its renowned principal, Dr Sucharita’s professional venture has been spectacular throughout making ACFA a national and global presence with its outstanding accomplishments in every field.

An elated Dr Sucharita expressed her gratitude to Madam Chancellor Mrs Sushma Paul Berlia for the honour. She said that she was fortunate to be associated with such a dynamic and progressive management under the stewardship of esteemed Madam Mrs Sushma Paul Berlia. She added that she would take her new charge as a challenging role and perform it to the best of her ability, carrying forward the quality benchmark of Apeejay and the glorious legacy of the Founder Chairman Dr Stya Paul Ji under whose guidance, she had taken off her journey at Apeejay four decades ago.

Apeejay is not just a place of work for me, it is my second home. I have received so much love, rewarding satisfaction, edification and blessings from my mentors here. I believe it is my greatest fortune to be associated with such a progressive and dynamic management under the stewardship of esteemed Madam Mrs Sushma Paul Berlia, Chairman Apeejay Education Society and Chancellor Apeejay Stya University Sohna Gurugram.  It is her inspiration, motivation and guidance at each and every step which is my biggest strength, my greatest treasure, which has kept me going.
