Dharmendra Pradhan acknowledges PM Modi for making education as global agenda in G20

Union Minister for Education and Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, Dharmendra Pradhan, expressed his gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for advancing India’s global education agenda within the G20 framework, resulting in worldwide recognition for India’s education and skill ecosystem. 

Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the G20 University Connect Finale program at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi. Speaking on the occasion, Pradhan expressed that Prime Minister’s insightful interaction highlighted the speed, scale and full range of New India that will inspire the youths to ‘Think and Dream Big’.

Pradhan credited PM Modi’s leadership for an unprecedented G20 Presidency that united the world in the pursuit of prosperity. He also commended students for leading Jan-bhagidari events and transforming G20 India into a people-driven national movement.

The G20 University Connect Finale attracted around 3,000 students, faculty members, and Vice Chancellors from participating Universities, with students from across the country participating in the live event.

The aim of this initiative was to familiarise country’s youth with India’s G20 Presidency and increase their involvement in G20 events. Over 1 lakh students from 101 universities participated in the programme, initially planned for 75 universities to commemorate India’s 75 years of independence. Various programs were conducted nationwide under this initiative.
