The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced yet another extension for the application deadline of the Common University Entrance Test (CUET UG) 2024, providing aspiring students with additional time to register. Originally set to close on March 26, the deadline was initially extended to March 31 and has now been further pushed to April 5 (till 9:50 pm). This second extension aims to accommodate candidates who have yet to complete their applications, allowing them to do so through the official website, exams.nta.ac.in/CUET-UG/

Following the closure of the application window, students will be granted a period to review and make any necessary corrections to their submitted forms. Subsequently, city slips will be issued prior to the distribution of admit cards, scheduled for the second week of May 2024.

Noteworthy changes have been introduced in the CUET UG format for the 2024 session. Applicants will now have the opportunity to select up to four cities as their preferred exam center choices, an increase from the previous limit of two. Moreover, the examination will be conducted in a hybrid mode from May 15 to 31, featuring questions in 13 different languages.

Similar to the previous year, CUET UG will be administered in Assamese, Bengali, English, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Punjabi, Odia, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu. This diverse language provision ensures accessibility and inclusivity for candidates across various linguistic backgrounds.

The extended application deadline reflects NTA’s commitment to facilitating a smooth and inclusive admission process for aspiring students. By providing ample time for registration and accommodating language diversity, CUET UG 2024 aims to attract a broad spectrum of talented individuals seeking higher education opportunities.
