On Monday, May 22, the National Testing Agency (NTA) successfully conducted the second day of the Common University Entrance Test – Undergraduate (CUET UG) 2023. This year’s edition of CUET UG commenced with less technical glitches, ensuring a smooth testing experience for the candidates.

However, on day 1, there were some minor delays reported at various exam venues. The chairperson of the University Grants Commission (UGC) addressed this issue, stating, “Due to the late arrival of some candidates, there was overcrowding and subsequent delays in the exam’s start. We urge students to arrive at staggered timings to avoid such situations. Administrative measures have been taken to prevent such occurrences in the future, and in several cities, we have sought assistance from traffic police to minimise congestion around the centers.” This statement was reported by a news source.

Further, media reports indicate that the attendance for CUET UG 2023 on day 2 reached 79 percent.
