CUET UG 2022 commences
The Common University Entrance Test-Undergraduate (CUET UG) 2022 phase 1 slot 2 exam will be held from 3 pm to 6.45 pm on Saturday, 16 July. All the aspirants appearing in the examination will have to follow the Covid-19 protocols laid down by the exam authorities.
The CUET UG 2022 for phase 2 will begin from August 4 and will be over on August 20. More than 14,90,000 candidates are appearing for the CUET UG 2022 exam. This exam is held in and around 500 cities across India and 10 cities outside India.
The CUET scores and not the Class-12 marks will determine admissions to 45 central universities, which can fix their minimum eligibility criteria. The scores for CUET will be released in a percentile format which will indicate the position of a candidate vis-a-vis other candidates.
Earlier, Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan had stated that “CUET is a step towards quality and standardisation.”
