CUET to be conducted twice a year from next year

Published

on

The Common University Entrance Test (CUET) will be conducted twice a year, starting next year or academic session 2023. The first CUET exam can be conducted somewhere around June and the next one in July.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has been entrusted with the responsibility of conducting the entrance tests for all the Central Universities (CUs) for the academic session 2022-2023. CUET will provide a single window opportunity to students to seek admission in any of the CUs and others across the country.

The NTA officials said the deadline for online applications this year, which is ending on May 6, will be extended.

While there is no clarity yet on what changes can be expected in CUET from next year, one knows that the exam will still be based on class 12 syllabus.
