My recent achievements include a trophy in the category ‘skewb’ organised by Brain Gym Academy for solving the cube in 10.54 seconds, two Gold and a Silver medal in the category ‘3x3x3’ Rubik’s cube in three different events organised by CUBELEO (for having an average of five solves under 20 seconds). I also achieved a certificate of participation in the event ‘Don’t Pause in Delhi’ (average of five solves in 17.75 seconds).

How did Apeejay School support you in this?

I learnt the beginner cube-solving method from my elder cousin and advanced techniques in other ways. At Apeejay School, teachers encouraged my passion, motivating me to participate in competitions. Their support helped me develop as a speedcuber, hone my skills, and achieve multiple awards, making the journey both rewarding and inspiring.

What was the most challenging part of the competition?

The most challenging part of any cubing competition is maintaining consistently good solves to achieve a strong average over five attempts. I overcame this by dedicating extra time to practice during my free hours, refining my techniques, and building speed and accuracy through persistent, focused effort.

What are your favourite puzzles and cube games?

My favourite cube games include the 3×3 cube, Skewb, Pyraminx, and Gear Cube, which challenge my speed and problem-solving skills. I also enjoy logic-based puzzles such as Sudoku and Wordle, as they stimulate my mind, enhance pattern recognition, and provide a fun yet engaging way to sharpen analytical thinking.

What’s your ambition in life?

My ambition is to break the world record for the 3×3 cube and aim to set records for other cube types as well. I am determined to pursue my passion for cubing, continually improving my skills, participating in competitions, and achieving excellence on both national and global platforms.
