Creativity comes alive through the classroom board decoration activity

Classrooms at Apeejay School, Noida, came alive with colours, ideas and creativity as students of Classes VI to VIII enthusiastically participated in the Class Board Decoration Activity. The engaging activity encouraged students to combine artistic expression with meaningful learning while fostering collaboration, innovation and class spirit.

Each grade explored a unique theme that inspired thoughtful reflection and creative presentation. Class VI celebrated the richness of cultures and traditions through the theme Celebrating Diversity, highlighting the importance of inclusivity, respect and unity in a multicultural society. Through vibrant illustrations, inspiring messages and colourful displays, students showcased how diversity strengthens communities and enriches lives.

Students of Class VII delved into the fascinating world of science with the theme Think Like a Scientist. Their classroom boards featured scientific discoveries, innovative ideas, famous scientists, thought-provoking facts and motivational quotes that encouraged curiosity, observation and critical thinking. The displays reflected the students’ enthusiasm for inquiry-based learning and their eagerness to explore the wonders of science.

The theme for Class VIII, Freedom Through Unity, inspired students to create impactful visual presentations that celebrated the spirit of togetherness, patriotism and collective responsibility. Through creative artwork, meaningful slogans and symbolic imagery, the students conveyed the message that unity is the foundation of a strong and progressive nation.

Working under the guidance of their class teachers, students collaborated effectively to conceptualise, design and decorate their classroom boards. The activity provided an opportunity for every learner to contribute according to their strengths, promoting teamwork, communication and shared responsibility.

The beautifully decorated boards were evaluated on parameters like creativity, originality, presentation, relevance to the theme, neatness and overall visual appeal. Every display reflected careful planning, imagination and attention to detail, making each classroom a vibrant learning space.
