College students win prizes in finance-based role play competition

This competition aimed to challenge students to think creatively and apply their knowledge to solve complex business problems

Apeejay Institute of Management & Engineering Technical Campus (AIMETC), Jalandhar, organised an interesting finance-based competition for its students. Called ‘FinCase-Ace the Case’, the role playing competition was conducted by AIMETC’s Finance Club.

The event was open to students from all departments. They were divided into four teams of two to five members each and were asked to role play a case study provided to them. The case studies covered a range of topics from finance to operations and human resources. The winners were chosen from different semesters on the basis of communication, analytical and decision-making skills of the participants.

This competition aimed to challenge students to think creatively and apply their knowledge to solve complex business problems. The judges were impressed by the creativity and innovation displayed by the participants, and the event provided an excellent opportunity for students to gain exposure to real-world business scenarios.

Dr Rajesh Bagga, director, AIMETC, acknowledged the hard work put in by the coordinators of the Finance Club and motivated the students to participate in more such competitions in order to enhance their overall growth. Among the coordinators were convener Dr Anu Sahi and coordinator of School of Management, Hardeep Kaur, along with 25 members of the club. The event was declared a great success.
