Read edited excerpts here.
What are you doing professionally now?
At present, I’m managing www.thepantrys.com, an online grocery service start-up co-founded by my friend and me. My responsibilities at The Pantrys include inventory management, human resources, skill development, website maintenance, marketing, and sales. Additionally, I’m involved with the Aadarneyi Foundation, where I handle client relationships and fund settlements.
What does a typical day look like?
My day begins with yoga and meditation to set a positive tone ahead. Later in the day then I review and finalise the plans from the previous night, prioritising key tasks for the day. This structured approach helps me effectively manage my time and stay focused on my responsibilities.
Tell us about your time at ASU.
My time at Apeejay Stya University was filled with enriching experiences. I participated in numerous events, from Subharambh to the Budgets Symposium, and engaged in various cultural activities. I also took on the role of organising events, such as Bollywood Day, which involved managing food stalls and driving profitability. These experiences were incredibly rewarding and contributed greatly to my personal growth.
Share a few nostalgic memories from ASU.
I have many fond memories from ASU, especially with friends who became a big part of my life. I had the pleasure of being close to three great friends, who were my juniors. I also had friends across various departments and enjoyed participating in numerous events with them. These experiences and friendships are some of the most cherished memories from my time at this institute.
How was the faculty?
They were exceptional — knowledgeable and supportive. Each professor here brought their unique teaching style. One of my teachers was known for his engaging stories, while another provided practical insights. Each instructor had a wealth of experience, which greatly enriched our learning.

What are your dreams and goals?
My dream is to establish a sustainable start-up that focuses on benefiting farmers globally and protecting the environment. My goal is to develop innovative solutions that promote sustainable agriculture, enhance soil health, and support the well-being of the earth.
Any message for the students of the university.
Keep things simple and remember that creativity alone might not be enough. Think outside the box and build friendships with those who support your growth, not just for having fun. Make the most of your time by learning skills beyond the university curriculum to enhance your personal and professional development.
What’s your advice for future start-up entrepreneurs?
While I feel I haven’t achieved everything I aimed for yet, I’ve learned an important lesson: If you have an idea, act on it. Perfection is not a prerequisite; sometimes, you need to take immediate action. Don’t wait for the “right” time, as it might never come. Start as soon as possible and make adjustments along the way if things don’t go as planned.
How did ASU help you hone your skills?
Completing my MBA in Marketing and Finance at ASU was a significant milestone. The university provided a supportive environment with excellent teachers who contributed to my learning. Additionally, I made some amazing friends who played a crucial role in my development. These experiences have been instrumental in honing my skills.
