CM Stalin writes to 12 others Chief Ministers to join hands against NEET

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin has written to the chief ministers of 12 states seeking their support against the medical entrance exam — National Eligibility and Entrance Test (NEET). Stalin attached a copy of the AK Rajan Committee Report on the impact of NEET on underprivileged students. “The Committee was also requested to suggest alternative admission procedures which would benefit all students, the feasibility of implementing such alternatives and the legal steps to be undertaken to implement such fair and equitable methods. Based on the recommendation of the Committee, the Tamil Nadu State the same also for your perusal,” Stalin wrote. The letter has been sent to the Chief Ministers of Andhra Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Delhi, Jharkhand, Kerala, Maharashtra, Odisha, Punjab, Rajasthan, Telangana, West Bengal, and Goa.
