Recently, Apeejay School, Noida, organised a vibrant and engaging morning assembly on the theme Incredible India. Conducted by the students of Class II, the assembly offered a colourful celebration of India’s rich cultural heritage, diverse traditions and the spirit of unity in diversity.
The programme commenced with a serene prayer, creating an atmosphere of peace, positivity and reflection. This was followed by the Thought of the Day, which encouraged students to appreciate India’s glorious heritage, cultural richness and the values that bind its people together despite their diverse backgrounds.
The young presenters then shared the news headlines, keeping the audience informed about significant national and international developments. Their confident presentation helped students understand the importance of staying aware of events and developments taking place around them.
The highlight of the assembly was a lively and colourful ramp walk, during which the Class II students proudly showcased the traditional attire of various Indian states. Dressed in vibrant costumes representing different regions, the young participants brought India’s cultural diversity to life. Their confident walk and cheerful presentation reflected the unique customs, traditions and identities that make the country truly incredible.
The assembly concluded with an insightful theme talk highlighting the beauty of India’s unity in diversity. The students spoke about the country’s rich cultural heritage, historical legacy and varied traditions, while emphasising the importance of respecting, celebrating and preserving India’s unique identity.





The programme provided the young learners with an opportunity to explore India beyond textbooks and develop a deeper appreciation for its multicultural character. It also encouraged them to embrace diversity, respect different traditions and take pride in their national heritage.
