The learners of Apeejay School, Noida, presented a vibrant and heartwarming assembly to celebrate the auspicious festival of Raksha Bandhan. The programme beautifully captured the essence of the festival and highlighted the cherished bond of love, care, protection, and togetherness shared between siblings.
The assembly commenced with a soulful prayer that created a serene and positive atmosphere. It was followed by the Thought for the Day, inspiring students to embrace the values of kindness, compassion, love and togetherness in their everyday lives.
Keeping the audience informed, the young presenters confidently shared the National and International News, followed by the school campus news. Their confident delivery reflected their growing awareness of events happening around them and helped make the assembly both meaningful and engaging.
A special segment on Raksha Bandhan followed, where the students presented a short talk on the significance of the festival. Through their presentation, they highlighted the importance of sibling relationships and the values of affection, respect, care and mutual support that make these bonds special.
Adding colour and enthusiasm to the celebration, the Class II learners looked delightful in their traditional ethnic attire. They then enthralled the audience with an energetic dance performance on a cheerful, foot-tapping song. Their confidence, expressions, coordination and infectious enthusiasm added vibrancy to the occasion and made the performance a memorable highlight of the assembly.
