At a time when Media–the fourth pillar of Indian Democracy is either corporatized or have become infamous for the anarchy of anchors, School of Journalism and Mass Communication (SJMC), Apeejay Stya University (ASU) invited renowned Journalist Darain Shahidi to have a discussion on the changing dynamics of Media.

From media wars to media trials, screaming news anchors to spreading toxic by hiding behind the news media, the Indian media is making a collateral damage of its own in this battle.

In the hands of masters, TRPs can become weapons of mass distraction. Having a power to bring down the gilded stars to earth and gilt-edged reputations torn to shreds, the Indian Media is compromising the media ethics.
