The first Parent-Teacher Meeting (PTM) of the academic session 2026–27 at Apeejay School, Pitampura, was conducted with great enthusiasm and vibrant participation from parents, students, and staff members. Held just before the commencement of the summer break, the campus came alive with energy, interaction, creativity, and collaboration, truly reflecting the spirit of a strong School–Home partnership.

The PTM served as an important platform for constructive academic dialogue between teachers and parents. Class teachers and subject teachers interacted with parents individually to discuss the learning journey of students during the months of April and May. The discussions were centred around academic progress, competency development, conceptual understanding, classroom participation, and areas requiring further attention and enrichment. In alignment with the vision of NEP 2020, teachers shared holistic feedback focused not merely on marks, but on skills, application-based learning, critical thinking, and overall growth. Parents deeply appreciated the transparency, warmth, and personal attention extended during these interactions.

Adding colour and vibrancy to the day were a series of student-led creative and co-curricular showcases organised across the campus. The central courtyard and auditorium resonated with music and artistic expression as students displayed their talents with confidence and joy. Melodious vocal recitals and instrumental performances by the school choir and budding musicians created a cheerful and welcoming atmosphere for all visitors.

A live painting activity emerged as another major attraction of the day. Young artists enthusiastically expressed their imagination and perspectives through colours and strokes, captivating parents and guests alike. The creativity and originality reflected in the artwork received immense appreciation and admiration from the audience.

Meanwhile, the Book Fair witnessed enthusiastic participation from both students and parents. Featuring a thoughtfully curated collection of fiction, non-fiction, educational resources, and activity-based books, the fair encouraged reading habits and meaningful engagement during the upcoming summer vacation. Families were seen exploring titles together, selecting books that would make the holidays both enriching and enjoyable.

Several school clubs and departments also set up engaging displays and interactive stalls. The STEM Club drew considerable attention with its innovative working models and coding demonstrations, showcasing the scientific temperament and technological skills of students. Information counters for the upcoming Summer Camps beginning on 20 May 2026 provided details about various programmes in sports, robotics, theatre, dance, and art, generating excitement among students and parents alike.

One of the most inspiring highlights of the event was the Blood Donation Camp organised by the Interact Club of the school in collaboration with Rotary Blood Bank. Parents, staff members, and alumni came forward wholeheartedly to contribute to this noble initiative. The drive reflected the school’s unwavering commitment towards social responsibility and community service while sensitising students and families to the importance of compassion and civic duty.

Overall, the Parent-Teacher Meeting was far more than an academic interaction; it became a celebration of collaboration, creativity, and community spirit. The active involvement of parents, the enthusiasm of students, and the dedication of teachers together made the day truly memorable and meaningful. The valuable feedback and interactions from the event will further strengthen the school’s efforts in planning a purposeful and enriching academic journey ahead.
