The Apeejay Institute of Management & Engineering Technical Campus (AIMETC),  Jalandhar, commemorated the 102nd birth anniversary of Mrs. Rajeshwari Paul, beloved wife of the Late Dr. Stya Paul, Founder Chairman of Apeejay Stya & Svran Group, with deep reverence and gratitude. The occasion served as a heartfelt tribute to an extraordinary woman whose life was defined by compassion, generosity, artistic excellence, and an unwavering commitment to education and social welfare.

The programme commenced with an address by Dr. Rajesh Bagga, Director, AIMETC, who read a special message from Mrs Sushma Paul Berlia, Chairperson, Apeejay Education, Apeejay Stya & Svran Group and Chancellor of Apeejay Stya University. In her message, she described the celebration as an opportunity to honour the remarkable qualities that distinguished Mrs. Rajeshwari Paul throughout her life. She highlighted that Mrs. Paul Ji’s appreciation for art, aesthetics, and generosity gradually became intrinsic values of Apeejay Education, inspiring generations of students and educators.

The message reflected on Mrs. Rajeshwari Paul’s abiding love for the performing and visual arts. A postgraduate in English Literature, she possessed an intellectually vibrant personality and a wide range of interests. Her passion extended to Indian classical dance, particularly Kathak, music, swimming, and the fine arts. More importantly, she believed that education should nurture creativity alongside academic excellence, a philosophy that continues to define the educational vision of Apeejay institutions.

The gathering also remembered Mrs. Rajeshwari Paul Ji as an inspirational force behind the Late Dr. Stya Paul Ji, whose pioneering efforts in education, philanthropy, and the promotion of Indian art and culture established the foundation of the Apeejay Education Society. Her encouragement and shared vision played a significant role in fostering institutions committed to holistic learning and nation-building.

Addressing the audience, Dr. Rajesh Bagga paid a heartfelt tribute to her remarkable personality and enduring legacy. He remarked, “Mrs. Rajeshwari Paul was the embodiment of compassion, kindness, generosity, and humility. She was one of those rare individuals whose selfless spirit brought hope, faith, and encouragement into the lives of countless people.”

Dr. Bagga further observed that Mrs. Rajeshwari Paul’s gentle and motherly nature endeared her to everyone she met. Her active involvement in charitable initiatives and her immense contribution to education continue to inspire the Apeejay community. He emphasised that although her physical presence is no longer with us, her ideals remain deeply embedded in the culture and values of Apeejay institutions.

The celebration concluded with a renewed commitment to uphold the timeless principles that Mrs. Rajeshwari Paul cherished—compassion, excellence, creativity, and service to society. The event reminded students, faculty, and staff that true education extends beyond classrooms and is rooted in humanity, ethical values, and a lifelong pursuit of knowledge. By celebrating her extraordinary life, AIMETC reaffirmed its dedication to preserving her inspiring legacy while continuing to nurture socially responsible, culturally aware, and compassionate future leaders.
