The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released instructions for students, principals, and parents regarding the submission of registration forms for the 2024 academic session pertaining classes X and XII Board exams.

Principals and schools are instructed to verify that the registered students are their own regular and legitimate enrollees, with no bonafide student left unregistered. Additionally, students not be from any unauthorised or unaffiliated schools.

CBSE-affiliated schools and their principals are also mandated to confirm that students meet the eligibility criteria for admission into classes IX and XI and are slated to appear for the class X and XII Board exams in the subsequent year in accordance with the exam bylaws.

For class XI students, the Board notes that schools must verify that they have successfully completed and passed all subjects and papers in their class X exams from a recognised school education Board.

All schools must first enter the information on the OASIS portal. They are required to fill in the full names of the candidate, mother and father or guardian. Abbreviations must be avoided.
