The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has opened the application correction window for the September 2026 session of the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET). Candidates who have already submitted their application forms can now make necessary corrections through the official website, ctet.nic.in. The correction facility will remain available from June 15 to June 18, 2026.

Applicants are advised to carefully review their submitted details and make any required changes within the stipulated period, as no corrections will be allowed once the window closes.

To edit their application forms, candidates need to visit the official CTET website, ctet.nic.in, click on the correction window link, and log in using their application number and password. After making the permitted changes, applicants should verify the updated information and submit the revised form. It is advisable to save a copy of the corrected application for future reference.

CBSE has clarified that only specified fields can be modified during the correction period. No offline requests for changes will be entertained, and the information submitted after the correction window closes will be treated as final for further processing.

Meanwhile, the CTET September 2026 exam will be conducted in two shifts. Paper II will be held in the morning session from 9:30 am to 12 pm, while Paper I will take place in the afternoon session from 2:30 pm to 5 pm.

Candidates appearing for Paper II must report to their examination centres by 7:30 am, while those taking Paper I must arrive by 12:30 pm. Entry will not be permitted after the respective exams have commenced.

CTET serves as an eligibility test for teachers seeking appointments in Central Government schools, including Kendriya Vidyalayas, Navodaya Vidyalayas, and schools administered by various Union Territories. Candidates can visit the official CTET website for detailed information regarding the examination and application process.
