Jasmeen Kaur from the Commerce stream of Apeejay School, Rama Mandi has emerged as the school topper by securing an impressive 93% in the CBSE Class XII Board Examinations. Her remarkable performance reflects months of disciplined preparation, self-belief, and unwavering dedication.
For Jasmeen, the announcement of the results brought a wave of emotions. Like many students, she felt nervous and anxious before checking her score, but the moment soon turned into one of immense happiness.
Recalling her reaction, Jasmeen shared, “When I heard the result was out, I was very nervous and curious to know my marks. I kept thinking about how much I had scored. When I finally opened the result and saw my marks in all the subjects, my eyes started watering because I could not believe I had scored so well. After that, I felt very happy and proud of myself.”
Jasmeen performed consistently across all subjects, showcasing a strong academic foundation. She scored the highest marks in Economics, Business Studies, and Physical Education, securing 95 marks in each subject. She also scored 94 in English and 86 in Accountancy.
Her excellent performance in commerce-related subjects reflects her growing interest in business and management, which she hopes to pursue further in higher education.
Unlike many students who rely on intensive coaching, Jasmeen prepared for her board examinations independently, without taking any tuition classes. Her study plan focused on discipline, consistency, and maintaining a healthy balance.
Sharing her preparation strategy, she said, “My preparation strategy was very simple. I made schedules in which I planned how many hours I wanted to study and also gave time for rest. I did not want to put pressure on my mind. For the first two days, I studied from books, then revised notes given by teachers, and in the last days, I solved sample papers and previous year question papers to understand the exam pattern.”
She further added, “I also watched YouTube videos for reference. I studied six hours a day—three hours in the afternoon and three hours at night. This helped me learn everything properly.”
Jasmeen credited her school and teachers for their consistent guidance and encouragement throughout the academic year. From pre-board examinations to study material and exam support, the institution played a key role in strengthening her preparation.
“My school played a very important role in helping me achieve good marks. Teachers gave us notes, PDFs, sample papers, and previous year question papers. They constantly motivated us to do our best. The Principal and Vice Principal also blessed and encouraged us before exams,” she expressed.
Looking ahead, Jasmeen plans to pursue a BBA degree to deepen her understanding of business and marketing. “I want to pursue a BBA because I have a lot of interest in business. I want to gain more knowledge about marketing and business management,” she said confidently.
