CBSE Class 10 toppers credit their teachers, parents for their success 

In a special article, achievers from Apeejay School, Mahavir Marg express their joy and share advice about the dreaded exam

Students of Apeejay School, Mahavir Marg in Jalandhar showcased a stupendous performance in the recent Class 10 Board examination. School topper Paanya Matta scored a stellar 97% and aspires to be a Cardiac Surgeon. Speaking about her amazing result she says, “Consistency is the key, I feel. Putting in the work day in and day out is the only success mantra. You should not have any academic backlog and remember to practice as much as you can.”

She further added, “I would give the entire credit for the result to my teachers. They were with me at every hour of need. Thanks to their lovely teaching, I did not need any external coaching.” The school topper advises the current class 10 students to have self-belief and study regularly, those are essential tricks needed for the journey. 

Practice makes it perfect 

Second position holder, Riya Nijhawan, aspires to become a Fashion Designer and has opted for Non-medical stream in class 11. When asked about the secret to her result, the 96.8% holder mentions, “I paid attention in the class and always got my doubts cleared. I also practiced lots of extra questions.” 

As words of wisdom she advises, “Always ask your doubts and be regular in your classes. The teachers teach each and every topic in absolute detail and are very supportive. Don’t hold back your questions.”

Study daily

Third highest scorer, Megha Verma, gives hard work all the credit. The 96.4% holder wants to join the Punjab Police Services and serve the nation. She mentions, “The school and my parents supported me so much and they are the real architects of this score. I am truly indebted to them.”

 She further adds, “I studied up to 8 hours daily before the exams, but I was already studying for 1-2 hours from the beginning of the academic year.” However, the current Commerce with Math student is a person of a few words and has a simple philosophy to motivate the current students, “Study because it is one of the major ways in which you can progress in life.”

Mrs Sangeeta Nistandra, Principal of the school, was delighted with the performance of her pupils. She mentioned very enthusiastically to the Newsroom team, “Our class 10 students showcased an outstanding performance in the recently held board exams. Their hard work speaks in the form of the laudable result in the CBSE Board Examination 2022-23.I congratulate all the students and wish them all the very best for their future endeavors.”
