CBSE, CISCE Class 12 Exams Cancelled. How Class 12 Results Will Be Prepared?

The decision to cancel the class 12 board exams was taken after a high-level meeting chaired by PM Narendra Modi.  The meeting was attended by Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Union Minister Prakash Javadekar, and Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Chairman Manoj Ahuja, besides other officials.

Now, the Big Question: How CBSE class 12 result will be prepared? According to reports CBSE will devise a 3-point plan for students: 

Option 1: CBSE will conduct the exams for those students who wish to take the exams. The exams will be held as and when the situation becomes conducive.

Option 2: The assessment could be based on performances in classes 9, 10 and 11 final exams. 

Option 3: The assessment could be based on internal assessments of class 12 and a certain weightage to class 10 board results.  

CBSE is expected to soon come out with a detailed method of evaluation.
