The CBSE Class X toppers of Apeejay School, Mahavir Marg have made everyone proud with their remarkable performance, achieved through hard work, sincerity, and unwavering dedication.
Meet Panav Aggarwal, Kriti Kumar, Manasvi Mittal and Akshit Jain who have scored 99.4%, 99%, 98.6% and 98.6% respectively in the CBSE Class X board examination.
Sharing about his preparation strategy, Panav said, “Majorly I used to be attentive in class and listen to the teachers carefully. My core preparation was during my school exams like Preboards. It helped to analyse the mistakes I was making. Sample papers are the key to success and reading NCERT is a must.”
Meanwhile, Manasvi believed in staying consistent throughout the session, “consistency helps in avoiding a lot of backlog at the end. Other than that I thoroughly read the ncert books and during a month prior, i solved sample papers.”
With clear goals and a disciplined approach, Kriti followed a fixed study timetable and maintained consistent routines that helped her excel. Her routine was based around:
· Study daily and balance time between different subjects. Be consistent throughout the journey.
· Allocate specific times for studying, revising, and practicing each subject.
· Take breaks every hour to refresh your mind.
· Give time to your hobbies. Do physical activity also.
Speaking about their plans ahead and the subject stream they will choose,
Akshit mentioned, “I would like to pursue non-medical as per my interest in Science and my ambition is to be a Skilled Software Engineer.”
While Kriti wants to pursue science stream and aspires to become a doctor and Panav aspires to take up non-medical moving forward.
So how did they overcome the challenges during the exam time?
“I think the most challenging part of the exam was stress just before the exam but it was just until I reached inside the examination centre. I think stress is one thing most students will face but they should realise that an exam requires 50 percent effort and 50 percent confidence,” expressed Panav.
Meanwhile, Kriti chalked out a plan as described:
· Difficult Subjects: Focus on understanding concepts rather than just memorizing. Seek help from teachers or peers when needed.
· Exam Stress: Stay positive and remind yourself of your preparation and hard work.
Akshit credits his mother who helped him ease all his tension and overthinking.
However, for Manasvi it was all about keeping calm composure to handle exam stress, “The most challenging part during the exam is time management and not to lose composure. in order to overcome this, just believe in yourself.”
Now, with eyes set on even bigger dreams, these achievers are ready to take on new academic challenges though their journey stands as a testament to the power of focus, planning, and perseverance, encouraging others to believe in themselves and strive for excellence.
