The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has activated the online application link for students seeking scanned copies of their Class 12 answer sheets following the declaration of CBSE Board Result 2026. Students can apply through the official CBSE portal, which is available at the CBSE Official Website.

The Board announced the update through its official X (formerly Twitter) account, informing students that the online facility for obtaining scanned copies of answer books is now fully functional. CBSE also stated that students can continue submitting their applications online without interruption.

In its notice, the board advised students to avoid repeated submissions in case of temporary delays, especially during payment status updates, due to a high volume of requests on the portal. CBSE clarified that such delays are expected because of heavy traffic and urged students to remain patient while completing the process.

According to the official notification, the ongoing process will give priority to students seeking scanned copies for grievance redressal and re-evaluation purposes. Meanwhile, those who wish to obtain scanned copies for archival or personal record purposes will be allowed to apply once the re-evaluation process is completed.

The application window for obtaining scanned copies of answer sheets will remain open till May 23, 2026. Students are required to pay a processing fee of ₹100 per answer sheet. Earlier, the fee for obtaining scanned copies was ₹700, but CBSE has now significantly reduced the amount to make the facility more accessible for students.

The processing fee can be paid only through online modes, including Credit Card, Debit Card, or Net Banking. CBSE has clearly stated that payments through Postal Order, Demand Draft, Money Order, Cheque, or Cash will not be accepted.
