CBSE announces Single Girl Child Scholarship 2023; know more
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has launched the commencement of the Single Girl Child Scholarship 2023 Scheme application process. This initiative aims to empower single girl children in pursuing their education.
Those interested and eligible can submit their applications through the official website at www.cbse.gov.in. The deadline for submitting applications is set for October 18, 2023.
Notably, this opportunity is meant for single girl students enrolled in schools affiliated with CBSE, who have achieved a minimum of 60 per cent in their CBSE Class X exam and are at present, pursuing their studies in Class XI and XII. The school’s monthly tuition fee of such candidates should not exceed Rs 1,500. Even NRI applicants studying in CBSE-affiliated schools can apply, but they won’t be entitled to a tuition fee exceeding Rs 6,000 per month.
CBSE will review and verify the application till October 25, 2023.
