The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the dates for the 2024 supplementary exams for classes 10 and 12. The class 10 supplementary exams will start on July 15, 2024, while the class 12 exams will be held on a single day, July 15, 2024. The detailed date sheet will be released later on the official CBSE website, cbse.gov.in.

Schools are required to submit the list of students appearing for the supplementary exams through the Pariksha Sangam link. Only students listed online will be eligible to take the exams. The eligibility criteria, fee structure, application process, and list of subjects for the supplementary exams have been provided by CBSE.

Students who appeared as regular candidates in the 2024 Board exams but were categorised as ‘compartment’ candidates need to contact their respective schools to register for the supplementary exams. Schools must inform these students and include their names in the List of Candidates (LOC), even if the students cannot be contacted directly.

Students can improve their performance in up to two subjects for class 10 and one subject for class 12 by submitting their names for the supplementary exams. Those who did not pass after the initial and subsequent attempts will be considered private candidates for their third and final opportunity in the 2024 supplementary exams. These students can apply directly via cbse.gov.in.

Form submission without a late fee is open from May 31, 2024, to June 15, 2024. The fee per subject is Rs 300 for students in India, Rs 1,000 for students in Nepal, and Rs 2,000 for students outside India. Forms submitted with a late fee of Rs 2,000 will be accepted from June 16 to June 17.
