Apeejay School of Architecture & Planning (AIT-SAP), Greater Noida, recently held an orientation programme for its first-year students. The event was organised at the institute’s seminar hall and was attended by not just freshers but also their parents.

The guests were warmly welcomed by AIT-SAP’s director Vivek Sabherwal, executive director DN Bajpai, and the first-year class coordinators Ar Aastha Kalia and Ar Nida Hasan. The orientation turned out to be an enriching experience for the attendees whereby the class coordinators shared a comprehensive PowerPoint presentation showcasing the institute’s vision and mission. They also showed glimpses of AIT-SAP’s quality infrastructure as well as the remarkable achievements of both the students and the faculty. The session turned out to be quite insightful.

The new students were given a folder with all the relevant information and guidelines of the institute. They and their parents were later taken on a tour around the college campus to help them acclimatise to the environment and know AIT-SAP better while witnessing the facilities firsthand.

AIT-SAP is committed to imparting in-depth knowledge in architecture and shaping students into qualified architects to meet the challenges of buildings and habitats posed by the new millennium. The curriculum is designed to enable a pragmatic vision around architectural ideas, urban design, and landscape design. The school was formally inaugurated in October 1999.
