Bhavya and Aradhya are class 4 and 1 students at Apeejay School, Faridabad Sector – 15 respectively. Both sisters are making great progress in the school and are amazing all with their talent in extracurricular activities, academics as well as sports.

In a quick interview, their mother Mrs Prity Ved Mishra informs us how the teachers in the school go one step beyond in ensuring that all students keep up the learning graph.

Read edited excerpts:

Ma’am, are both of the children happy at the school?

Yes, both my daughters are very happy. If Aradhya’s teachers tell her to sit somewhere, she won’t even move an inch from there. She loves her teachers so much and is super obedient to them. In short, she just never wants to disappoint them.

Bhavya too feels loved at school . She was supported immensely by her teachers Aarti Puri ma’am, Ms Khanna and Ms Aarti Verma. They really encouraged her and helped her improve upon her writing skills.

Any new teaching techniques the teachers are using?

Yes, they have many fun learning strategies. During the online classes in lockdown, the teachers worked so much on educating the kids via new learning techniques. The teachers replaced competitions with activities where top ten performers are selected instead of three position holders. This removes the feeling of competition and helps kids feel good about participating.

The teachers push each and every child ahead. Bhavya was very good in speaking skills but lagged behind in the writing part. Her teachers always encouraged her and she improved soon.

Do the sisters play any sport at school?

They love lawn tennis and are both learning it as well . Bhavya also learnt skating during the summer camp and skates avidly at home.

What about the extracurricular front?

They are both doing awesome in that. Bhavya is excellent in speech and Aradhya loves to dance. This is an area where the students are practically learning a lot and it is the same with my daughters.

We hope they have made many friends in their class?

My elder daughter has made many friends. Making new friends is her forte.  But Aradhya isn’t so social as of now. She isn’t concerned much about others and isn’t much into making friends yet.

Finally, are you satisfied with your decision to enrol them here?

Without a doubt! The teachers at the school communicate so well with us and build a good bond with the parents. All the teachers, school staff, everyone here is so humble. I feel confident that my daughters will get the best environment here.
