The corridors of the Apeejay Institute of Design (AID) resonated with a rare opportunity as Ms. Reetu Betala, Advisor – Design Education, opportunitised Delhi Board of Technical Programme-Diploma (BTE-Dip) students and two faculties – Ms Satinder Kaur and Dr.Priyanka Shukla to partake in the National Induction 5.0 webinar.

The session was graced by the wisdom of Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankarji. This initiative, under the aegis of AICTE, marked the dawn of a new academic year—a gateway to not just knowledge, but to profound personal transformation. In this inspiring session, Gurudev’s words wove a tapestry of insight, urging educators to look beyond the canvas of conventional teaching. He illuminated the path towards a pedagogy that nurtures not only the artist’s hand but the soul behind it.

The session was a masterstroke, blending the art of teaching with the essence of holistic growth, urging faculty to sculpt an environment where creativity flourishes in harmony with well-being. For the faculty, this experience was akin to an artist discovering a new palette, deepening their understanding of the student’s journey, while simultaneously adding new hues to their own professional growth.

Sharing her thoughts Dr. Priyanka Shukla, Asst. Professor expressed, “As they embark on guiding this new cohort, the wisdom imparted by Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankarji will undoubtedly continue to inspire, leaving a lasting imprint on the canvas of education they so passionately craft.”

All in all, the National Induction 5.0 webinar proved to be a masterclass in merging the art of teaching with the spirit of holistic development. It was a valuable opportunity for the Apeejay Institute of Design’s faculty and students to gain insights that will positively shape their approach to education.
