Basant Panchami: A joyous welcome to spring by this school

With the arrival of spring, Apeejay School Rama Mandi in Jalandhar transformed into a vibrant canvas painted in hues of yellow, celebrating Basant Panchami with enthusiasm and warmth. The celebration began with the students of the Pre-Primary Section, who, adorned in beautiful yellow attire, seemed like blossoms under the spring sun, embodying the essence and vibrancy of the season. The special morning assembly dedicated to Goddess Saraswati, the embodiment of knowledge, music, art, wisdom, and learning, was a moment of reverence and spiritual upliftment. The dedication and talent of the students shone brightly, particularly during the dance performance by class VII students, which was a highlight of the day. Mrs Aarti Shorey Bhat, the Vice-principal, seized this opportunity to deepen the students’ understanding of the significance of Basant Panchami. Following the assembly, the celebration took to the outdoors with the kite flying activity on the school grounds.
